"Ascension Vader"

Initially a collaboration with a bird living in my studio, the colorful "droppings" borrow from traditions of abstract expressionism. The central ladder like form has a vegetable line that wraps around the vertical lines as if it grew there. Hidden in the side of paint splatters is an imprint of Darth Vader's helmet.
