This natural-system mandala depicts insects pollenating sunflowers. The monarch butterfly is a beautiful carrier of genetic information as are the 100 real bees adhered to the circumference of the central circle. The rectangular form is a streetprint pulled from a roadside water drainage grate near to the location of the sunflower fields in the South of France.
